underwhelming you kids: How to keep stress and anxiety at bay

Have you ever felt like you were at the end of the rope with your child? Have you ever known in your gut that something was wrong but everyone just told you to wait it out? I’m here to tell you to trust your mom's gut and keep searching! I have come across many parents in practice that was not being heard by their child’s doctors.

A few things you can do on your own if you haven’t already are to decrease the amount of sugar your kids are eating. Sugar is known to cause inflammation and can change the body’s blood chemistry which can affect the brain. Decreasing the amount of screen time your child is exposed to in a day can help their brains calm down and hope they can get better, restful sleep at night. Another option is to seek out a chiropractor that is trained to find and fix misalignments in the spine that can change the communication pathways between the brain and body to be more connected.

We are trained in working with all types of neurodivergent kids. We always tell people to expect miracles. Once these kids are under the care and their brains and bodies get calmer amazing things you hoped for start to happen.
